Private tuition can be a great way to experience the benefits of Yoga and Pilates for those who are unable to join a regular class or to run alongside a regular weekly class to enable a deeper, more frequent practice remaining under the guidance of a qualified teacher. They can also serve as an introduction to Yoga or Pilates and be used as a course of rehabilitation from illness, surgery or injury. Grainne has undertaken additional training in Pilates for Injuries and Special Populations, pre-natal and post-natal Pilates, pelvic floor dysfunction, rehabilitating abdominal separation, Gentle Years & chair-based Yoga, meditation, Yoga for Sleep Recovery and Yoga Nidra.

Sessions normally last for one hour and include a home practice with easy to follow pictures and instructions to work with at home or on your travels until the next session. For the self-motivated, private sessions can be effective and economical when experienced every 4-6 weeks. For those interested in more encouragement, fortnightly would be ideal. A session can be shared with one or two friends or family (£20 extra per extra person).

Prices for yoga and Pilates are for a one hour session which will include completion of a health questionnaire in advance and a short home practice to work with until the next session.  Pilates sessions also include a full postural analysis if desired (recommended).

  • 1 session = £70
  • 2 sessions = £130
  • 3 sessions= £195
  • 4 sessions = £220

All yoga and Pilates sessions in a series must be concluded within 6 months of the first session to ensure continued benefits of the practice.

Meditation 1 to 1 sessions are 30 minutes long and offered in blocks of 3 sessions at an investment of £97.

Sleep Recovery 1 to 1 sessions are one hour long, they cover the 5 steps to Sleep Recovery and are offered in blocks of 5 at an investment of £297.

Corporate groups and groups of co-workers wishing to experience the benefits of a lunchtime session can also be accommodated – the investment for each session is £70.
