Gráinne first joined a Yoga class in 1999 and instantly became hooked. Having since her late teens been a devotee of gyms and aerobics classes, enjoying racquet sports Gráinne lacked flexibility. Gráinne was amazed at what Yoga did for her flexibility and ability to relax and was soon practising Yoga several times a week. Gráinne’s interest deepened to include teacher training and in 2007 Gráinne obtained the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) teaching diploma (500 hours) whilst teaching Yoga to mixed groups in Sherwood, Nottingham and in Nottingham gyms. Her continuing professional development encouraged Gráinne to explore other forms of movement so she looked to Pilates and found the Pilates repertoire enhanced her Yoga practice and teaching perfectly. In 2014 Gráinne undertook the STOTT Pilates teacher training at the Pilates Academy in London and has been teaching Pilates ever since. In 2015, Gráinne also updated her British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma to the new Level 4 qualification (500 hours). Gráinne is also trained in STOTT Pilates for Injuries and Special Populations, BWY Gentle Years (chair) Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for Sleep Recovery, Mindfuless Meditation and is trained in Your Pelvic Matters to ease the symptoms of a weak pelvic floor and diastasis recti (abdominal separation).  Gráinne thoroughly enjoys attending Yoga and Pilates workshops to enhance her craft of teaching Yoga and Pilates, keeping your class content fresh, safe and inspiring.
