  • Yoga is a sequence of physical movements moving the body safely in all the directions it was designed to move in combined with breath control which brings health and relaxation benefits.

  • Slow mindful yoga has a calming effect on the nervous system and gently stretches the body in a mindful way.

  • Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga and is literally the “science of life” (and how to live well).

  • Anyone who wants to give it a go especially where it is impractical or unattainable to get up or down to the floor/mat.

  • Yes - chair yoga is perfect for you. Find details of chair yoga classes here.

  • Pilates is a sequence of precisely co-ordinated movements which brings improved posture together with flexibility and strength particularly in the back and abdominal muscles.

  • Fusion classes combine key elements of both Yoga and Pilates and are ideal for those who are short on time so wish to experience both Yoga and Pilates in one class or not yet sure which class is for them.

  • A Yoga or Pilates mat.

    Bottled water.

    Blanket, shawl or additional layer for relaxation (Yoga).

    Any additional equipment you normally use eg a block, strap, eye mask.

  • Loose comfortable layered clothing.

    Socks can be worn throughout Pilates but be prepared to remove socks for the standing postures in Yoga.

    Socks with rubber-dotted soles are available for both Yoga and Pilates.

  • To register on a Yoga or Pilates sequence or workshop, please go to the appropriate page and make a booking.

    Alternatively, visit my schedule to view all available classes and workshops and book.

  • Classes and workshops are approximately 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes long as specified under booking.

    Classes and workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Classes and workshops must be paid for in full and in advance of the course.

    On or after the start date, no refund can be given for your cancellation or non-attendance.

    Class bookings are valid for the duration of the course for which they were registered.

    There is no transferral of classes from term to term, course to course or person to person.

    Classes may be cancelled due to circumstances out of your instructor’s control eg extreme weather conditions, sickness, but refunds will not be given.

    All sessions in a series of private sessions must be concluded within 6 months of the first session.

    All sessions included in a class pass must be concluded within 8 weeks of the first session.
